This happens on Android phones on occasion due to the resolution setting in the phone. Some Android phones have the ability to record in ultra-high resolution (4K). This resolution is not necessary to create a high quality video for customers and can cause the upload to time out and the loss of the video created.
To solve this problem, we just need to change the resolution of the recording. This is done in the Phone’s settings, NOT within the CarFilm App. Since there are multiple manufacturers using the Android platform your setting may be in a different location than listed below
Here are a few places to check:
Main “settings” for the phone
Or the “Settings” within the native Camera App.
The setting you want to change may be called “video quality” or "video size". You will see some options like the picture below. Anything higher than 1080p (1920x1080) is not recommended.
Once the setting is changed take a test video and see if it will upload properly.
If you are unable to find the settings or this doesn't solve the issue please contact us by creating a support ticket.
