All CarFilm users have the ability to create as many folders as they'd like to organize their video library. Each folder can contain an unlimited amount of videos and a video can be stored within multiple folders at the same time.
CarFilm folders are also built to be shared among team members, allowing any user invited to the folder to add new videos or access the ones already added.
Creating a Folder
Folders are created and accessed from within your CarFilm library, on the screen where you typically see all your recent videos.
In the menu you'll find a button labeled "+ New Folder" for creating folders:
All folders require a title and you'll be asked for that next:
You may now access that folder from your CarFilm library and begin to store videos within it.
Adding a Video to a Folder
To add a video to a folder just click into the video from your library and then press the three dot menu pointed out below:
Within that menu select "Folders":
A list of the folders available to you will appear and you can select the one or several folders you'd like to add the video to:
The video is now accessible from within that folder:
Sharing a Folder
Folders within CarFilm become even more powerful when you start sharing them. By sharing a folder you grant additional team members access to be able to send the videos you've placed in that folder and also enable those team members to add videos of their own into the folder to be shared.
Sharing a folder is simple, first access the folder you wish to share from your CarFilm library and then once you've opened the folder click into the side menu pointed out below:
From within that side menu select "Share Folder":
Next you'll be offered some suggestions of users to add to the folder or you may begin typing in the emails of the users you wish to add:
You'll be able to confirm that folder has been shared based on the icon associated with it switching over to a group of people instead of the folder it had previously been:
